“Strong Women, Stronger World” – this belief is the foundation of our Fashion Design and Garment Making Institute.

My name is Fareeda, and I am the founder of Fareeda’s Fashion Boutique and Fashion Design Academy, an initiative born from passion, perseverance, and purpose.

Since childhood, I was always drawn to the world of arts and creativity. Designing my own outfits brought me immense joy, and despite pursuing formal education in Commerce and Business Administration, my heart always remained with fashion. I dreamed of studying Home Science, but due to the limitations of that time, I could not leave my city. However, I never gave up on my dream.

Married at a young age, I was entrusted with the responsibilities of family life early on. But I was blessed with a supportive family that encouraged my creativity. I turned my passion for tailoring into a profession, and from the income of my small tailoring work, I laid the foundation of my dream—a fashion boutique in the basement of my own building. Thus, Fareeda’s Fashion Boutique was born.

Each day was a step forward. I balanced home and work, and took every challenge life threw at me as a stepping stone. Even after the deep personal loss of losing my spouse in my early forties, I stood firm. My profession became my strength. With time, effort, and self-belief, I grew my boutique into a well-established Ladies' Collection Showroom, serving clients with quality, elegance, and personalized fashion.

But my journey didn’t stop at success. I believed that true success is when you uplift others. With this vision, I launched a Fashion Design and Garment Making Academy to empower women to become self-reliant. Many women have talent and creativity, but lack the opportunity or guidance. Through this institute, we aim to nurture their skills, give them direction, and support them in becoming entrepreneurs in their own right.

For over 30 years, I have been a business entrepreneur, running a successful garment business and educational institute. I have earned a degree in Bachelor of Commerce and further specialized in Fashion Merchandising. As a proud member of the Inner Wheel Club, I actively participate in empowering and educating women and girls, helping them become literate, self-employed, and confident individuals.

Today, I am also a proud mother of two sons—Huzaifa, an Electronics Engineer, and Taher, an MBA in Marketing—both of whom are involved in our family business of wholesale festival items. I am also blessed with two wonderful daughters-in-law and grandchildren who bring joy to my life.

This journey has been about more than fashion—it’s about creating small results, stretching your limits, and embracing each challenge as a lesson. As I often say:

“If you give the world selflessly, the whole universe supports you endlessly.”

At our Fashion Academy, we don’t just teach design—we shape dreams, build confidence, and empower women to take charge of their lives. Because when one woman stands strong, she becomes a pillar for many more.
